Efferfizz is an effervescent tablet designed to solve the urgent need for rehydration in situations where calves lose a lot of water and electrolytes.
Digestive problems
Diarrhea is not really our favorite topic to write about, however, it is a common health issue in calves. Diarrhea is the number one cause of death in calves from 2 to 30 days of age. Accounting to nearly 30% of deaths in calves, diarrhea has a major financial impact on cattle farms. An oral rehydration treatment is therefore crucial for scouring calves. Efferfizz is a practical solution with an optimal electrolyte balance, and in this way we want to change farming into Stressless Farming.

Clinical signs of dehydration*
The most important aspect in the treatment of the diarrheic calf is the administration of fluids to replace the extensive losses of water and electrolytes that occur and which are responsible for the clinical signs and potential death of the calf. Recognising these signs is crucial.
PERCENTAGE OF DECREASE IN BODY WEIGHT SECONDARY TO DEHYDRATION | CLINICAL SIGNS |
