Trial results
In a study performed by the International University of Andalucia (Spain) 28 cows were divided into two groups: the bolus group received one Mammitop Clinic at drying off while the control group didn’t receive a bolus. Somatic cell count was measured at time 0 (drying off) and time 1 (7 days after calving).
In the control group the SCC increased with 95%, while in the bolus group the SCC decreased with 52%.
