Norodine 24 Injectable Solution is indicated for treating acute, subacute and chronic conditions of bacterial origin in horses, cattle, swine, dogs and cats. The therapeutic spectrum includes both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and is also used in species with existing antibiotic resistance.

DOSAGE FOR CATTLE AND PIG:The recommended dose rate is 15 mg of active ingredient per kilogram of body weight (16 kg of body weight per 1 ml) administered by intramuscular or slow intravenous injection.When rapid blood levels are needed, Norodine 24 Injectable Solution can be administered via intravenous injection. For Horses: The recommended dose rate is 15 mg of active ingredient per kilogram of body weight (1 ml per 16 kg of body weight) administered by slow intravenous injection. For Dogs and Cats: The recommended dosage rate is 30 mg of active ingredient per kilogram of body weight (8 kg of body weight per 1 ml) administered by subcutaneous injection only. The recommended injection area in dogs is the area of loose skin above the neck. In simple cases, a single injection may be sufficient, but in severe infections, it may be repeated daily for up to 5 days, two days after symptoms have resolved. An appropriately staggered syringe should be used to administer the desired dose volume precisely. This is especially important when small volumes are injected.
